Add Access Group

Note: Mandatory fields are marked with an ‘*’. The following steps assume that the user is already logged in.

Steps

  1. Go to the User Icon.pngUser tab.
  2. Select the ACCESS GROUP tab and then Add.pngADD NEW.
  3. Fill in the Name of the Role.
  4. Fill in the Name in a different language by clicking Locale.pngLocale (Optional).
    • Available languages depend on your Organisation Settings.
  5. Select the Parent Group (Optional).
  6. Assign User (Optional).
    1. Select the USER tab.
    2. Check the box beside the username of users who belong to the group.
  7. Assign Site & Asset (Optional).
    1. Select the SITE & ASSET tab.
      • Assign Site:
      1. Check the box beside the ID of sites that belong to the group.
        • Assigning a site will automatically assign all the assets associated with the site.
      • Assign Asset:
      1. View assets associated with a site by selecting the Next.pngMore button beside its ID.
      2. Check the box beside the ID of assets that belong to the group.
  8. Assign Measurement (Optional).
    1. Select the MEASUREMENT tab.
    2. Check the box beside the ID of measurements that belong to the group.
  9. Assign Video (Optional).
    1. Select the VIDEO tab.
    2. Check the box beside the Name of video adapters that belong to the group.
  10. Assign Key (Optional).
    1. Select the KEY tab.
    2. Check the box beside the keys that belong to the group.
  11. Select SUBMIT (top right corner) to add the access group.
Tip: To assign all items under a particular category (User, Site & Asset, Measurement, Video, Key) simply check the box at the header level.
