Add Site with Bespoke Model

Note: Mandatory fields are marked with an ‘*’. The following steps assume that the user is already logged in.

Steps

  1. Go to the Site icon.png Site tab and select Add.png ADD NEW.
  2. Fill in the necessary fields (E.g. Site Name, Description, Country, Address etc.).
  3. Add Geolocation (optional):
    1. Select Geolocation.
    2. There are two ways to select location:
      • Search: Use the Search.png Search function to look for the specific location.
      • Drop Pin: Select EDIT and drop pin on the map.
      • Tip: Subsequently, the pin can be dragged to different positions on the map.
      • Note: For subsequent changes, the displayed address will not be automatically updated. The Use address.png Use Address button must be selected to update the address.
    3. Select OK to add geolocation. This will automatically update the country of the site but not its address.
  4. Choose Bespoke model type.
  5. Select 3D building model file (Zip file containing the .max file and maps of the site)
  6. Select SUBMIT (top right corner) to create the site.
  7. Once the 3D model has been processed, further action will be prompted.

  8. Select Edit.png Edit beside the site you just created.
  9. Select the Warning set default.png warning at the top of the screen.
  10. Assign Objects to Level.
  11. Set the site’s default view.
  12. Set the site’s thumbnail (optional).
  13. Add 2D Floorplans for each level (optional).
  14. Select SAVE or SAVE & EXIT (top right corner).
