Add Site with Hand Drawn Model

Note: Mandatory fields are marked with an ‘*’. The following steps assume that the user is already logged in.

Steps

  1. Go to the Site icon.png Site tab and select Add.png ADD NEW.
  2. Fill in the necessary fields (E.g. Site Name, Description, Country, Address etc.).
  3. Add Geolocation (optional):
    1. Select Geolocation.
    2. There are two ways to select location:
      • Search: Use the Search.png Search function to look for the specific location.
      • Drop Pin: Select EDIT and drop pin on the map.
      • Tip: Subsequently, the pin can be dragged to different positions on the map.
      • Note: For subsequent changes, the displayed address will not be automatically updated. The Use address.png Use Address button must be selected to update the address.
    3. Select OK to add geolocation. This will automatically update the country of the site but not its address.
  4. Choose User Drawn model type.
  5. Add BBL information under Building, Block & Level section.
    • Add Building (Optional):
    1. Select Add Inside.png Add beside Site Name.
    2. Insert Building Name.
    3. Select SAVE.
    • Rename Building (Optional):
    1. Select Edit inside.pngEdit beside Building Name.
    2. Rename Building.
    3. Select SAVE.
    • Add Block (Optional):
    1. Select Add Inside.png Add beside Building Name.
    2. Insert Block Name and Ground Floor Position.
    3. Select SAVE.
    • Edit Block (Optional):
    1. Select Edit inside.pngEdit beside Block Name.
    2. Rename Block and/or change ground floor position.
    3. Select SAVE.
    • Add Level.
    1. You can add individual level or multiple levels:
      • Individual Level:
      1. Select Add Inside.png Add beside Block Name.
      2. Choose the level type:
        • Level Below Ground: Basement Level
        • Level Above Ground
      3. Add Level Name.
      4. Add Level Height.
      5. Select SAVE.
      • Multiple Levels:
      1. Select Add Inside.png Add beside Block Name to add new levels under that block.
      2. Choose the level type:
        • Level Below Ground: Basement Level
        • Level Above Ground
      3. Add desired number of levels (greater than 1).
      4. Leave Level Name blank (rename after added).
      5. Add Level Height (all levels will use the same height).
      6. Select SAVE.
    • Rename Level (Optional):
    1. Select Edit inside.pngEdit beside Level Name.
    2. Rename Level and/or change its height.
    3. Select SAVE.
  6. Draw the site’s footprint:
    1. Navigate to the building location on the map either by 70px searching or dragging the map.
    2. Select EDIT beside Block Name to enter edit mode.
    3. Trace the block’s outline by selecting points on the map.
      • Tip: A node can be repositioned by selecting it and dragging it to a different position.
    4. Select EDITING beside Block Name to exit edit mode.
  7. Select SUBMIT (top right corner) to submit the created site.
  8. Once the 3D model has been processed, further action will be prompted.

  9. Select Edit.png Edit beside the site you just created.
  10. Select the Warning set default.png warning at the top of the screen.
  11. Set the site’s default view.
  12. Set the site’s thumbnail (optional).
  13. Add 2D Floorplans for each level (optional).
  14. Select SAVE or SAVE & EXIT (top right corner).
