Icon

An asset in Senfi Digital Twin is represented by a 2D icon. When User creates an Asset in the CMS, he/she can choose the icon used to represent the Asset from Senfi's icon library. The icon library has two list of icons:

1. System Icon
2. User-defined Icon

System Icon

System icons are the list of 2D icons provided by Senfi's system by default. These icons cannot be edited in any way.

User-Defined Icon

Senfi allows Users to create their own 2D icons via User-Defined Icons. This gives Users the freedom to add in and use customized icons as needed. When a User creates an icon, the icon will be made available to all the Users in the same Organization.

To create a User-Defined Icon, User has to supply the following information:

1. Image file
2. Label
3. Origin of icon

Image file

Senfi accepts .PNG file format for the icon image file. Icon size of 32x32 is recommended.

Label

The label acts as a descriptive tag for User to classify the icons, e.g. number, color, fire alarm . This is useful for Users to filter and search through the list of icons.

Origin

The origin controls which origin the icon will use as its origin in the 3D view.
